This year World Environment Day theme is ‘Celebrate Biodiversity’. With 1 million species facing extinction, there has never been a more important time to focus on biodiversity.
We on June 5th, will be going live with the Green Man of India, Dr. K. Abdul Ghani (Founder- IYONS) in a facebook conversation with Manuj Bhardwaj (Founding Advisor) and Mukesh Vashisht (Co- Founder), in order to understand about the threat to our biodiversity and what solutions can be worked upon on individual levels. It is an important platform for promoting the dimensions of environmental Sustainable Development Goals.

Nurture Nature Walk
Nurture Nature organised a Nature Walk at India Gate from 7:00AM – 10:00AM to show our love for your environment. Performances during the walk was given by Mahfouz band and a flash mob was also organised by our team.
Be The Change,Bring The Change
Nurture Nature Global organized the event in collaboration with Rotaract Club of Chandigarh Shivalik from 21- 24 October 2016. It is one of it’s own kind movement, which is initiated to emphasize on people’s role in saving the Planet Earth. The activities/ events associated to the movement are planned in such a way that will act as an eye opener of the people and make them aware of the alarming harm that is been caused to the Mother Nature. The tagline “Be the Change, Bring the Change” supports our cause as it highlights the changes we need to make in, us and our neighborhood that can bring the change. It will be a platform where each and every sector of the society can join hands and contribute to Save Mother Nature.

Connecting Youth To Nature
A daylong event in association with Fateh Public School, Lalina Village of Patiala District, Punjab was organized to initiate a mark of World Environment Day, 2017, in the presence of Mukesh Vashisht, Co-Founder, Manuj Bhardwaj, Founding Partner and International Relations Officer and Avineet Singh, Administrator. Along with which Awareness Programme to utilize the potential of Rural People in the Climate Change was also organized. on June 03, 2017 during World Environment Day 2017.
Delhi Peace Marathon 2017
Successfully organised Peace Marathon in Delhi on 10th September 2017 by Vivekananda Youth Connect. Nurture Nature was supporting partner in the event and stood for the great cause.
Jann Ki Baat
Nurture Nature Global and LEGAL AID CLINIC, UNIVERSITY INSTITUTE OF LEGAL STUDIES, PANJAB UNIVERSITY, CHANDIGARH presents Jann ki Baat in Chandigarh. Event is also supported by our Club Partner- Rotaract Club of Chandigarh Shivalik and Outreach Partner- PU Mirror. Event will be held from 26th September 2017 – 04th November 2017. Our aim is to bring about a realisation and initiate actions for the cause. The activities associated to the movement are planned in such a way that will act as an eye opener of the people.
Trash Walk + SDGs Talk
Nurture Nature Global in collaboration with Green Office Maastricht, Netherlands organised the event on October 2nd, 2017 which was supported by Embassy of India, The Hague, The Netherlands and Friend in Need India. The event followed by introduction Skype call with Dr. Aniruddha Rajput [Chairman, Drafting Committee of United Nations International Law Commission], followed by a discussion covering themes such as: Why a trash walk? What’s the connection between trash and climate change? Climate change a brief overview of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). How can we contribute to SDGs as individuals?Afterwards, a trash walk was organised – where team spent about an hour walking together with some music to help us keep up the trash picking pace! Let’s connect youth through nature all while cleaning up our city!
Komorebi: Mark the Wilderness Around! “The eye within. Living in the wildlife”
As wild-life week 2017 starts this Monday (October 2nd) and shall go on till Sunday (October 8th), Nurture Nature Global and PU Mirror join hands to provide you one of its kind opportunity to put your routine to a halt and enjoy the ‘wildness’ of your daily life. Be a part of this social experience, in the form of an online competition taking entries in three forms of expression, Audio, Write-Up+Photography and Videography. ‘Komorebi’ aims to create a direct link of one’s life with wildlife, in relation to lives they are living in cities, town, and metropolitans, urban, semi-urban, and rural or even in the country side areas.
International Women’s Day, 8 March 2018
Nurture Nature Global and Alliance University’s Women Empowerment Cell are proud to announce its collaboration in celebrating International Women’s Day. As a part of this year’s theme for international women’s day at Alliance University we have placed drop boxes in and around our campus to seek donations of sanitary napkins.
Nurture Nature Global organised a awareness and donation drive with Ajeenkya DY Patil University, Pune, Alliance University, Bangalore and Rotaract Club, Chandigarh to provide sanitary napkins to the women in rural areas and spread awareness regarding Mensural Hygiene in Chandigarh, Pune and Bangalore. The pads were collected from different institutions in different cities like from Pune the figure recorded was 2520 whereas from Bangalore and Chandigarh it was 550 each. We are able to fulfill the needs of 60 women for 6 months through the donations received in this project.
